Assistant Manager

Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meals that exceed their expectations. You will be responsible for meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and organization. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to our established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and managing dough. Ensure all food service operations comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including proper sanitation of cooking equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations based on seasonal ingredients. Use knives and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently to prepare ingredients. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
