Manager

Job Overview Legacy Bagel Store and Deli is seeking a Store Manager to oversee and manage daily store operations, food preparation standards, and equipment maintenance. Must have flexibility to work mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and ensure proper staffing levels for smooth store functioning Hire, train, schedule, and coach employees to ensure excellent customer service and efficiency. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations and maintain cleanliness.

Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years of prior restaurant, café, or deli experience required.

Leadership:

Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and digital ordering platforms.

Certification:

Food Safety Certification is highly preferred.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods and pay strong attention to detail regarding food quality and display case presentation.

From $28.00 per hour
