General Manager - Comedy Club & Restaurant American High's The Slice Club Liverpool, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time $30 - $39 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Project coordination Hiring Recruiting Project leadership Food service management Full Job Description Job Overview American High's The Slice Club is seeking an experienced, energetic, organized, and service-driven General Manager to create exceptional experiences for our guests while leading a dynamic calendar of live comedy events that foster engagement, strengthen community, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. The general manager will oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, event coordination and production, customer service, and financial performance. Sense of humor preferred! Key Responsibilities Operations :
Manage daily venue setup and event, bar/restaurant services, and live show execution.
Staffing :
Hire, train, and supervise all necessary staff.
Guest Experience :
Resolve customer complaints and ensure smooth event entry and seating.
Administration :
Handle budgeting and bookkeeping, inventory, and payroll coordination
Compliance:
Enforce health codes, food safety regulations, and labor laws. Experience 2 to 5 years of hospitality or entertainment management experience. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational and project management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Basic understanding of live event production, coordination, and promotion. Ideally, candidates are comfortable with the setup, execution and troubleshooting of point of sale systems We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
