(AGM) An Exceptional Opportunity for an Exceptional Hospitality Leader Casa Vendome, an upscale fine dining establishment in Roslyn, New York, is seeking a highly accomplished, polished, and service-driven Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the General Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant operations and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Lead, mentor, and develop front-of-house personnel while promoting accountability, professionalism, and teamwork. Ensure impeccable service execution, guest satisfaction, and consistent adherence to fine dining standards. Oversee floor management, reservations, seating, service pacing, and guest relations. Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and beverage service, wine presentation, menu knowledge, and proper service etiquette. Assist with labor management, staff scheduling, inventory control, cost management, and operational efficiency. Resolve guest concerns with discretion, confidence, and exceptional judgment. Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service requirements. Collaborate with leadership to improve revenue, profitability, staff retention, and the overall guest experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of progressive restaurant management experience , preferably in upscale or fine dining establishments. Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or equivalent leadership role. Demonstrated success leading, training, and managing high-performing hospitality teams. Extensive understanding of elevated dining standards, professional service techniques, and luxury guest expectations. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, food presentation, and beverage service. Proven ability to manage labor costs, scheduling, inventory, and restaurant operating procedures. Exceptional communication, organizational, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills. A polished, professional presence with outstanding interpersonal skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak service periods as required. A strong work ethic, impeccable integrity, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
