We are currently seeking an experienced and driven candidate just like you to serve as the Banquets & Events Manager at Brookmere Saratoga, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel . You will play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional banquet and event experiences while helping create unforgettable weddings, meetings, celebrations, and social gatherings that leave a lasting impression on every guest. The primary objective of the Banquets & Events Manager is to oversee the daily operations of the hotel's banquet and catering department while ensuring exceptional guest service, flawless event execution, and compliance with Marriott brand standards and DelMonte Hotel Group procedures. This role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and mentoring banquet associates; maintaining appropriate staffing levels; coordinating closely with the Event Sales team, Executive Chef, and hotel leadership to ensure seamless execution of every event; and serving as the operational liaison with clients throughout their functions. The Banquets & Events Manager is also responsible for maintaining food quality and sanitation standards, overseeing banquet room setup and presentation, managing departmental budgets, payroll, purchasing, and inventory, while ensuring banquet facilities, equipment, and event spaces remain clean, safe, and ready to exceed guest expectations. Successful candidates will combine strong leadership and operational expertise with a genuine passion for hospitality and event execution. The ideal candidate will have experience leading banquet or catering operations, coaching and developing associates, managing multiple events and competing priorities, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire teams, anticipate guest needs, and consistently execute memorable events with excellence.
