Job Description
Job Summary At Andover Sparkle Market, our Dairy/Frozen Foods Manager plays an essential role in ensuring our customers find fresh, well-stocked, and high-quality dairy and frozen products every time they shop. In this leadership role, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Dairy and Frozen Foods Department, maintaining exceptional product quality, organized displays, and outstanding customer service. As our Dairy/Frozen Foods Manager, you'll lead and support your team while managing inventory, controlling shrink, and ensuring products are properly rotated and merchandised. You'll work closely with store leadership to create an inviting shopping experience and keep the department operating efficiently and profitably. We're looking for a dependable leader who takes pride in organization, attention to detail, and building a strong team. Experience Required:
2-5+ years in grocery retail, dairy, frozen foods, or department managementExperience Desired:
Previous leadership experience, inventory management, merchandising, ordering, and team supervisionEducation Desired:

18 or older Job Responsibilities- Lead the daily operations of the Dairy and Frozen Foods Department to ensure products are fresh, fully stocked, and attractively displayed.
- Train, coach, schedule, and develop department team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, place accurate product orders, and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Ensure proper product rotation using FIFO practices and maintain accurate code dating to minimize shrink and maximize freshness.
- Receive deliveries, organize backroom inventory, and maintain clean, orderly coolers and freezers.
- Monitor department sales, labor, and profitability while identifying opportunities to improve performance and reduce waste.
- Maintain department merchandising standards, including seasonal displays, promotional items, and pricing accuracy.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Keep all department equipment, coolers, freezers, shelves, and work areas clean, organized, and operating safely.
- Collaborate with store leadership and other department managers to support overall store goals and daily operations.
- Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented workplace that values customers, coworkers, and the community.
