A Restaurant or Food Service Manager oversees daily operations at a restaurant or an institution that serves meals such as a college or hospital. Hires, trains and supervises food service workers, manages meal and work schedules, supervises supply orders, food preparation and the quality of food and service, and monitors compliance with health regulations.
We are looking for an experienced AGM who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of No Soliciting; a members only bar and restaurant located in downtown Columbus. You'll provide support and leadership to team members in order to ensure our members always receive exceptional service and have a great experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the creation of weekly schedules and oversee daily operations. Act as a brand ambassador for Rise Brands and ensure values are upheld to both external and internal audiences. Establish and maintain positive relationships with all members/guests and handle complaints, requests and inquiries as they arise. Monitor, evaluate and coach team member performance and guest service skills. Set and review objectives in line with the performance review and on-boarding process. Manage organization and cleanliness of the overall space address issues in a timely and effective manner. Maintain expert knowledge of our food and beverage offerings. Certify that team members are pouring and ringing in drinks properly. POS system management and training team members on accurate procedures. Manage product, supplies, inventory and stock control. Anticipate needs of guests and colleagues, support at peak times and undertake any operational duty which might be required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Management experience in upscale, high-volume bar/restaurant required. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Experience assigning tasks, leading/growing teams and holding staff accountable. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including, walking, standing, and/or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time. Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends. Ability to follow proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures.
