We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead the opening and operations of our brand-new Staybridge Suites in Fairborn, Ohio. Hired during the pre-opening phase, you will play a key role in recruiting, hiring, training, and building a solid team helping establish the hotel's culture, operational standards, and guest experience from day one. You will also support the ramp-up of hotel sales, marketing, and revenue performance leading into opening. Upon opening, the General Manager will: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast, guest services, sales, and financial performance Lead and inspire associates to deliver exceptional guest service and strong operational results Execute sales and marketing initiatives while building relationships with local businesses and community partners Drive occupancy, ADR, guest satisfaction, and profitability through effective leadership and revenue management strategies Maintain strong operational controls, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting practices Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and company expectations Partner closely with ownership and provide consistent communication and operational updates Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years hotel management experience required IHG experience preferred Prior hotel opening experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Hands-on operational mindset with the ability to lead by example Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery Experience with hotel sales, revenue management, and market segmentation Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-through skills Comfortable working flexible hours including weekends and on-call responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits:
$65,000 - $70,000 per year based on experience Employee discounts Paid time off Growth opportunity with expanding hotel ownership group
