is seeking a Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations in our energetic sports bar environment. The Bar Manager oversees bartenders and bar support staff, ensures excellent guest service, maintains inventory and ordering for beer, liquor, and supplies, and upholds all safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance standards. This role manages bar scheduling, cash handling, and POS accuracy while driving sales through promotions and consistent execution of company recipes. The Bar Manager trains and coaches staff, resolves guest issues, and partners with the restaurant management team to deliver a fun, consistent experience that reflects Fricker's community-focused culture. Responsibilities Oversee daily bar operations in a busy restaurant and sports bar Supervise, schedule, and support bartenders and bar staff Ensure excellent guest service and resolve bar-related guest concerns Manage bar inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships Maintain compliance with alcohol service, safety, and sanitation standards Monitor cash handling, drawer counts, and POS accuracy for bar transactions Train, coach, and develop bar team members on recipes and service standards Implement and support bar promotions to drive sales and traffic Collaborate with restaurant management to align bar operations with overall goals Maintain a clean, organized, and fun sports bar environment Required Skills Bar operations management Staff supervision and scheduling Customer service and guest recovery Inventory control and ordering Cash handling and POS systems Alcohol compliance and ID verification Restaurant safety and sanitation standards Training and coaching bar staff Sales and promotion execution Basic reporting and performance tracking
