Job Description
Kitchen ManagerRole Overview As the Kitchen Manager, you are the technical leader of our culinary operations. You will drive excellence in the Back of House (BOH) by masterfully managing kitchen flow, from prep and production to ordering and inventory. Your mandate is to cultivate a skilled, safety-conscious team through rigorous training while ensuring financial integrity through meticulous ordering, inventory and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities BOH Training & Leadership Serve as the primary trainer for all BOH staff, including prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers, ensuring mastery of techniques and station standards. Lead continuous education on sanitation and health code standards, conducting regular audits to maintain a "gold standard" kitchen environment. Develop cross-training programs to ensure operational flexibility and professional growth within the kitchen team. Operational Logistics & Financial Integrity Manage all aspects of kitchen inventory, including vendor ordering, receiving, and storage to minimize waste and optimize food costs. Execute secure opening and closing cash handling procedures, ensuring all register reconciliations and bank deposits are accurate and compliant. Oversee the efficient flow of prep and dish departments to support peak service periods and maintain recipe consistency. Manager on Duty (MOD) Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for guest interactions during assigned shifts, ensuring total customer satisfaction and resolving service issues in real-time. Maintain high floor visibility to monitor the customer journey and support Front of House staff during high-volume periods. Gather and report on guest feedback to the executive team to continuously refine the overall dining experience.
What We're Looking For Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of kitchen leadership or supervisory experience in a high-volume environment.Technical Expertise:
Proficient in inventory management, sanitation training, and culinary production workflows.Accountability:
Strong attention to detail regarding cash handling, health codes, and financial reporting.Communication:
