Job Description

Food Truck General Manager (Driver Required) Fun Trucks LLC is hiring a motivated, hands-on leader to manage one of our high-volume food trucks. This is a leadership position responsible for daily operations, team direction, customer experience, and overall truck performance. If you're confident running shifts, leading a team, and taking ownership of results, this is a great opportunity to grow with a fast-moving mobile food company. Compensation (You Choose Your Structure): We offer two compensation options: Option 1: $700 guaranteed weekly base pay + tips Option 2: 12% commission on truck sales + tips You choose the structure that fits your work style and earning goals.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate and transport the food truck to scheduled locations Lead and manage a 3-6 person team during service Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality Drive strong customer service and upselling culture Operate Square POS and manage cash handling Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Monitor inventory and coordinate restocking Ensure truck readiness including propane, fuel, and daily checks Handle customer concerns professionally Attend required manager meetings (first Tuesday of each month) Work regular operating schedule
Wednesday-Sunday Requirements:
Leadership experience in food service, restaurant, or quick-service environment Valid driver's license and comfort driving a larger vehicle Ability to work independently without supervision Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment Basic mechanical awareness (checking fluids, reporting issues — not major repairs)
