Job Description
Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for leading daily operations, developing employees, improving profitability, and helping grow the business. Responsibilities Lead and develop Shift Leads and Baristas. Create employee schedules and manage labor costs. Oversee inventory control and ordering. Ensure all operational checklists, reporting, and procedures are completed accurately. Review timecards and ensure payroll information is accurate. Obtain ServSafe Manager Certification within 45 days of hire. Ensure Shift Leads maintain ServSafe Food Handler Certification. Verify deposits, banking procedures, and cash controls. Maintain appropriate change funds and bank relationships. Provide daily and weekly operational reporting to ownership. Develop initiatives to increase sales, improve profitability, and enhance guest experience. Build community relationships and identify opportunities for business growth. Qualifications Prior management experience in coffee, restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and staff development. Ability to analyze business performance and improve results.
