Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and energetic Shop/Runner to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will serve as the essential link between our suppliers, warehouse operations, and service departments. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless flow of parts, equipment, and supplies needed for HVAC repair, manufacturing, and shop functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control while supporting a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives on multitasking with a positive attitude. Duties Efficiently pick up and deliver parts, tools, and equipment between suppliers, warehouses using appropriate transportation methods such as forklifts or carts. Assist with shipping & receiving processes including verifying shipments, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting inbound/outbound deliveries accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards including forklift operation safety protocols and equipment repair procedures. Support demand planning efforts by tracking supply levels and communicating shortages or delays to relevant departments promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse, shipping & receiving, or HVAC environments Familiarity with supply chains, inventory control, and logistics coordination. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and suppliers. Clean Driving record Ability to pass drug screening Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items (+50lbs) safely and standing for extended periods.
