Restaurant General Manager

  • 20 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability 40-50 hours per week Cousin Vinny's Pizza is looking for an experienced, dependable restaurant manager to lead our late-night operation.
We are seeking a true hands-on manager who can direct employees while also working alongside them. This is not a position where you stand back and supervise. Our manager makes food, answers phones, helps customers, cleans, and steps into any position necessary. At times, you may be the primary person making food. Responsibilities Lead, direct, and motivate employees throughout the shift Maintain discipline and hold employees accountable Keep employees working productively Ensure food is prepared correctly and consistently Coach employees on strong customer-service skills Manage food quality, cleanliness, speed, and order accuracy Train and develop employees Manage inventory and place product orders Monitor labor, food costs, waste, and cash handling Handle customer complaints professionally Work closely with the owner on hiring, discipline, and termination decisions Use basic restaurant and computer systems Step into any position when needed Schedule Requirements Open availability Must be available evenings and every weekend Typical shifts may begin around 5:00 PM The store closes at 3:00 AM, and managers may remain until approximately 3:30-4:00 AM Approximately 40-50 hours per week, depending on business needs Must own a dependable vehicle and have reliable transportation to and from work Qualifications Previous restaurant or food-service management experience General managers and experienced assistant managers are encouraged to apply Strong leadership and people-management skills Comfortable correcting problems and holding employees accountable Able to maintain food quality during busy or understaffed shifts Willing and able to work every station Dependable, organized, and comfortable working late nights Basic computer skills Experience with inventory, ordering, cash control, labor, and food costs is preferred Starting pay will depend on relevant experience and the skills demonstrated on the job. We are looking for someone interested in taking ownership of the store's daily performance—not someone simply looking for a management title.
