This position is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations including team development, guest experience, financial performance, bar operations, community engagement, and overall shop culture. The General Manager will work closely with ownership to create an exceptional environment for both customers and crew while maintaining the unique Cheba Hut brand experience. Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team Lead a staff of approximately 30-45 team members Create a culture focused on accountability, growth, and teamwork Manage labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs Analyze and manage restaurant financial performance Conduct employee coaching, performance reviews, and development meetings Maintain operational excellence and food safety standards Drive sales through local marketing, community involvement, and events Manage both restaurant and bar operations Ensure compliance with all company policies and brand standards Oversee facility maintenance and equipment upkeep Lead by example and create an exceptional guest experience every day Qualifications Previous restaurant management experience required General Manager experience preferred Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing labor and food costs Ability to read and understand P&L statements Strong communication and organizational skills Solution-oriented mindset Valid driver's license Food and alcohol certifications or ability to obtain Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends What We Offer Competitive salary Bonus opportunities Paid time off Growth opportunities with a multi-unit franchise group Leadership development Opportunity to open and lead a brand-new restaurant Fun, energetic culture with a unique brand About Us We currently operate Cheba Hut locations in Oklahoma and continue to grow.
