In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Your energetic leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting where teamwork and excellence are at the forefront. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service in a quick service or casual dining environment Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure adequate coverage during busy hours Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed to reduce waste and control costs Train new staff on food preparation techniques, customer service protocols, and operational procedures Assist in budgeting efforts and monitor financial performance to meet business goals Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining cleanliness Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing operations within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing Excellent leadership skills with prior supervising or management experience in hospitality or food service environments Deep understanding of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and inventory control methods Ability to train staff effectively in culinary techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures Experience with restaurant management tasks such as shift management, budgeting, and staff interviewing Exceptional communication skills with a focus on team development and customer satisfaction Familiarity with diverse food industry roles including catering, banquet services, barista work, or hotel food services is a plus Join us as an Assistant Manager/Team Captain to lead with energy, foster teamwork, and deliver memorable dining experiences.
