Job Description

We are seeking a driven and energetic management professional with demonstrated success in operations and revenue achievement to fill the General Manager position at the newly renovated Holiday Inn in Wilsonville, OR. The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on and has proven ability to maximize profitability as well as provide superb guest service. This is not an office position; the General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the property and is expected to actively engage in operations, sales, interactions with employees and guests on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Direct the daily operations of the Hotel Manage staff including hiring, training, developing, and disciplinary measures Manage the property budget and forecast; oversee purchases and monitor all expenses Willing and able to work in all departments and cover scheduled shifts as needed Superior team work; creating connections with associates, empowering associates and creating a learning environment that develops associates, who are respected at all levels for the care they give our guests. Oversee the sales and marketing activity and results Communicate with the Hotel owner and management company regarding results and aligning strategic plans for future development of the property Participate in appropriate industry related community and state organizations Speak with and respond to guests regarding service challenges with a demonstrated ability to drive significantly above average guest satisfaction scores. Ensure that all policies, procedures, federal, state and local ordinances with regard to personnel, security, cash handling, guest/customer relations work safety and food safety are followed.
Requirements:
Minimum of four years Hotel Management experience Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations Demonstrated ability to deliver above average operational results at the GOP and NOI lines Demonstrated ability in creating and driving imaginative and innovative sales strategies that result in deeper penetration of current customer markets and the development of new customer niches. Ability to produce above average REVPAR market performance and catering revenue from banquets, conferences, special events, and SMERF segments Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
