Pizza Cook/Shift Manager

As a Shift Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our pizza store during your designated shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and leading a team of employees, managing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, motivate, and train a team of pizza store employees, including delivery drivers, kitchen staff, and customer service representatives. Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and offer support to team members to optimize their performance and foster a positive work environment. Schedule shifts, manage employee breaks, and handle shift rotations to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.

Operational Management:

Oversee all aspects of the pizza store's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, cash handling, and ordering supplies. Ensure adherence to established operational policies, procedures, and health and safety standards. Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistent quality, presentation, and taste of pizzas and other menu items.

Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Train staff on customer service techniques and provide guidance to maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers. Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that pizzas are prepared, cooked, and served according to established standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store, including food preparation areas, dining areas, and restrooms. Monitor food expiration dates, proper storage procedures, and adherence to food safety guidelines.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry. Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers, employees, and suppliers. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and sanitation standards. Proficient computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
