Job Description

Job DescriptionBakery ManagerFamily owned for over 30 years, McCaffreys operates retail supermarket locations in the greater Bucks County PA and NJ areas focused on providing exceptional food items in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The company offers full-time positions that are long-term career opportunities.

Due to our continued growth, McCaffreys is currently seeking a Bakery Department Manager. The preferred candidate will have previous experience in a supermarket bakery and have the flexibility to work varied shifts.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Follow all food safety standards per company policy and applicable regulationsProvide outstanding customer service to our guestsProduce all bakery goods of the highest qualityKeep product looking fresh and presentable, keeping the shelves and stand full, keeping the area in a neat, clean, and appealing mannerTake special orders and fill customer ordersWork up and mix up products from recipes or prepared mixesSet ovens, bake product and monitor the baking processOperate and maintain all department equipmentDetermine quantities of ingredients needed to orderUnload and verify deliveriesPerform all functions of bakery clerk when necessaryConstantly monitor temperatures in freezer and cooler areasFollow all company policiesPerform other duties as directed
Physical Demands:
Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on dutyWork in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of timeLift cases/containers of product up to 40 pounds.
