Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our Veteran's Club culinary team and oversee kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety protocols, and elevate the overall dining experience for our members and their guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about food service management and team development. Responsibilities Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Oversee food safety management practices in compliance with health regulations and company standards. Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance skills, improve performance, and promote teamwork. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff effectively to meet service demands during peak hours. Utilize Jar Trek system. Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ensure all members and guests receive exceptional service. Requirements Professional cooking experience. Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within the food industry, including team leadership and staff training. Familiarity with POS systems like JarvTrek for efficient transaction processing. Knowledge of inventory control techniques, food safety regulations, and hospitality management principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff effectively and ensure superior customer service. Basic math skills for cash handling, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis. Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable. Experience in a non-profit or club environment preferred. Salary range based on experience.
