North Park Lounge Richland North Park Lounge Richland is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager who knows how to run a busy restaurant while still being part of the team. We are located in Gibsonia, PA, along Route 8 and approximately one mile from the Butler Valley exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, making us easily accessible from throughout the North Hills and surrounding areas. We are part of the locally owned North Park Lounge Restaurant & Entertainment Group. We are not a corporate restaurant chain, and this is not a corporate restaurant management position. We are a family-run business that cares about our customers, the food we serve, and the people who work for us. Many of our employees have been with our company for years, and some for decades. We are proud that our management team does not experience the constant turnover often seen in the restaurant industry. When we find good people, we want them to stay, grow, and build a future with us. About the Position Our managers are expected to be present and involved during their shifts. You will be on the floor interacting with guests, communicating with employees, checking on service, solving problems, and helping wherever you are needed. North Park Lounge Richland is a full-service restaurant and bar that also offers weekend breakfast, weekly food specials, private events, and live entertainment at Stage 8. It is a busy and unique operation, so we need someone who can manage a regular dinner service just as confidently as a special event or packed weekend shift. Responsibilities Oversee daily front-of-house restaurant and bar operations Interact with guests and help create the friendly, familiar atmosphere our customers expect Lead and support servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and other front-of-house employees Step in and assist the team when service gets busy Ensure guests receive friendly, prompt, and attentive service Address guest questions and concerns professionally Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and employee development Communicate specials, menu updates, events, and shift expectations to employees Work closely with kitchen management to maintain food quality, accuracy, and efficient service Monitor staffing, labor, cash-handling procedures, and shift responsibilities Use the Aloha POS system for daily operations, reporting, employee functions, and guest service Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant, bar, and guest areas Uphold food safety, responsible alcohol service, and company standards Assist with opening and closing procedures, deposits, reporting, and securing the building What We're Looking For Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience Experience in a full-service restaurant and bar environment A hands-on management style and a willingness to work alongside the team Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills The ability to stay calm and make decisions during busy shifts Someone who can hold employees accountable while treating them with respect Someone who genuinely cares about hospitality, food quality, and the guest experience Experience with scheduling, labor management, cash handling, and daily reporting Experience with Aloha POS is preferred but not required Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events Why Work With Us?
