We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our café kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can lead a team while ensuring excellent food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, efficient service. Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to café standards. Lead, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff. Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation. Monitor food inventory, place orders, and manage vendor relationships. Control food costs, reduce waste, and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Develop and maintain prep lists, production schedules, and kitchen procedures. Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs. Assist with menu planning, specials, and recipe development as needed. Communicate effectively with café management and front-of-house staff. Maintain a professional, positive, and respectful work environment. Qualifications Previous kitchen supervisory or management experience preferred. Experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage. Ability to manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen supplies. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as required. Food safety certification, such as ServSafe, preferred or required as applicable.

Kitchen Hours:

Daily from 7:00 AM - 3:00

PM Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
