Banquet Manager Confidential Mount Joy, PA 17552 Full-time Full-time Experienced Banquet Manager (Weekend Availability Required) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Banquet Manager to oversee weddings, banquets, and special events. This is a hands-on leadership position for an individual who is passionate about hospitality, leads by example, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing banquet operations from setup through event completion, supervising service staff, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring every event is executed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Lead banquet operations during weddings, receptions, and special events. Actively participate in banquet service, setting the standard for professionalism and exceptional guest service. Coordinate the setup, execution, and breakdown of all events according to event orders. Serve as the primary on-site contact for bridal couples, event hosts, vendors, and banquet staff. Anticipate and resolve operational or guest concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when appropriate. Ensure ceremony sites, bridal suites, reception areas, and banquet spaces are prepared accurately and maintained throughout each event. Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate banquet servers and bartenders to maintain high service standards. Prepare staff schedules and assign responsibilities based on event needs. Review banquet event orders, prepare banquet summaries, and ensure all event details are executed accurately. Evaluate completed events and recommend improvements to enhance service and operational efficiency. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all banquet facilities, including light cleaning and annual deep-cleaning responsibilities. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of banquet or event management experience required. Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience required. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to lift, move, and assist with event setup and breakdown as needed. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required. Schedule Primarily weekends, with evening and holiday availability as required. Peak wedding and event season runs from March through December , during which extended hours should be expected. Why Join Our Team?
