We are looking for someone who loves to dive right in, maintain high standards, and enjoys leading & motivating teams to take the restaurant to the next level. The ideal candidate is an industry professional who works well with a diverse group of employees and has a strong knowledge base with a passion for food & beverage. As the assistant general manager, you will work with the general manager to manage floor managers & front of house staff to ensure team morale as well as guest hospitality. The AGM will be in charge of the wine list - strong experience and a passion for beverage is required. The AGM will be in charge of service and will maintain & develop protocols, procedures and lead the team in tandem with the general manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience scheduling a large front of house team (45+ people weekly) Experience and passion for wine & beverage Experience running a reservation book throughout a busy service (Resy) Experience specifically in high volume reservation based restaurants Experience managing costs Experience hiring and maintaining staffing levels Maintaining a positive team culture through leading by example Experience offering guidance, assessing staff performance, and creating/upholding service standards Experience creating and enhancing FOH restaurant procedures and training materials A charismatic personality & ability to create great experiences with guests If this sounds like a position that interest you, please email a brief cover letter and your resume.
