We support a wide range of industries, including offices, schools, healthcare campuses, industrial plants, and specialty facilities across North America. We are currently seeking an Assistant Custodial District Manager who is motivated by accountability, consistency, and results. What You Will Do Work directly with Custodial District Manager to oversee a team of cleaners at various onsite client locations. Lead, coach, and develop a diverse staff—interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and guiding team members toward success. Track labor hours and payroll, approve timecards, and allocate premium pay correctly by position. Plan staffing levels and supply needs; maintain inventory and submit purchase requests as required. Conduct routine quality walks and safety inspections; produce clear reports for senior leadership. Certify team members on equipment use and cleaning procedures; provide ongoing training refreshers. Uphold OSHA and company safety policies, immediately correcting any unsafe practices. Coordinate equipment upkeep, arranging repairs or replacements when necessary. Collaborate with clients and management to share building updates, resolve issues, and boost satisfaction. This outline highlights core responsibilities but is not an all-inclusive list. What You Bring To succeed as an Assistant Custodial District Manager, you will need 4+ years in commercial custodial, janitorial, or facilities services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role overseeing 15 or more employees. Track record of budget management, solid judgment, and quick problem-solving. Comfort juggling shifting priorities and multiple sites without losing focus on results. Ability to communicate effectively—verbally and in writing—across all organizational levels and with clients. Proficiency with standard office software (word-processing, spreadsheets, basic databases). Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and safety. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Valid driver's license and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a shift. Physical & Work Environment This Assistant Custodial District Manager role requires extensive walking and standing on hard surfaces, occasional lifting of supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs, and regular exposure to cleaning chemicals (with provided PPE).
