  • Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team.
In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering top-notch customer service, and leading our hospitality staff to success. We are a family run, high volume restaurant/pub and would need someone that likes a fast paced envinroment and is passionate about contributing new ideas. The ideal candidate would be knowledgable about food, hospitality, and management, with a knack for motivating teams and maintaining high standards. Experience in catering is a bonus. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while contributing to a lively dining experience. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction. Assist in food preparation oversight, ensuring quality standards are met across all menu items. Handle cash transactions, POS system management, and cash handling procedures accurately. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Enforce food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant. Support shift management by coordinating front-of-house and kitchen activities during busy hours. Qualifications Proven experience in a fast paced restaurant, with a strong background in food service operations. Experience in driving sales and social media marketing strategies Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the hospitality or food industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse teams. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience in fine dining, casual dining, catering, or hotel food service environments is a plus.
