Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline food production processes, and uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the dining experience in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while managing budgets, inventory, and staff development. Duties Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food stock levels to minimize waste and control costs. Implement and monitor food safety standards in compliance with local health regulations and company policies. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety procedures, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Toast POS), and customer service excellence. Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a collaborative team environment. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and profitability. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and interviewing skills. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Toast POS; cash handling experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes effectively. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks like training staff, managing hospitality teams, and ensuring high levels of customer service. Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
