Salary:
$35,000-$45,000 annually (based on experience)
Commission:
5% commission on all events personally booked and successfully executed Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, organized, and hospitality-driven Event Coordinator / Front of House Manager to join our team. This dynamic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with guests, and has a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. As the primary point of contact for private events, you will oversee every stage of the event process—from initial inquiries and planning to execution and post-event follow-up. In addition to coordinating events, you will help lead front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities Respond to event inquiries and conduct venue tours with prospective clients. Plan and coordinate private events, special dinners, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. Develop proposals, contracts, and event timelines. Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the planning process. Coordinate with the culinary, bar, and management teams to ensure flawless event execution. Serve as the on-site event manager during events, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard. Assist with front-of-house management, including guest relations, floor supervision, and supporting the service team. Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly. Maintain organized event calendars, client files, and follow-up communications. Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations to generate new event opportunities. Work closely with ownership and management to grow private event sales and increase revenue. Qualifications Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, restaurant management, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Professional, outgoing, and guest-focused personality. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience with restaurant POS systems and event management software is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $35,000-$45,000 , depending on experience. 5% commission on all events you personally book and successfully execute.
