In this key leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and consistently high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness, and service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate a diverse team, maintain an organized and positive work environment, and thrive in a busy, fast-paced restaurant. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house, kitchen, bakery, bar, and takeout service. Create staff schedules, manage shifts, and ensure proper coverage based on business needs. Maintain a smooth and efficient flow of service during high-volume periods. Recruit, onboard, train, develop, and motivate employees. Set clear expectations and conduct regular employee performance evaluations. Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portion control, and timely service. Supervise food preparation, production, storage, and handling procedures. Maintain compliance with all health codes, food-safety requirements, sanitation standards, and workplace safety procedures. Monitor inventory levels, control waste, and coordinate the timely purchasing of food, beverages, and operating supplies. Manage SpotOn and Owner.com systems for sales tracking, cash handling, reporting, online ordering, and other operational functions. Review sales, labor, food costs, and profit-and-loss reports to identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce unnecessary expenses. Ensure accurate opening, closing, cash-handling, and deposit procedures. Resolve guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with a hospitality-focused approach. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, respect, and exceptional customer service. Collaborate with ownership and the management team on budgeting, promotions, marketing initiatives, live entertainment, catering, banquets, and special events. Lead by example and remain actively involved in restaurant operations when additional support is needed. Qualifications and Experience Fluency in English and either Portuguese or Spanish is required. At least three years of proven restaurant management experience in a high-volume, quick-service, fast-casual, buffet, or casual-dining environment. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience managing diverse front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, food preparation, kitchen supervision, food safety, sanitation, and customer service. Experience with employee scheduling, labor management, inventory control, purchasing, budgeting, and profit-and-loss analysis. Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating employees. Familiarity with SpotOn and Owner.com is highly preferred. Experience with buffet service, catering, bakery operations, bar operations, coffee service, or Brazilian cuisine is an advantage. Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the restaurant's needs.
