Required Years of Experience 2 years Job Details Events & Floor Manager — Blackstones Steakhouse Stamford, CT Blackstones Steakhouse in downtown Stamford is seeking a polished, articulate Events & Floor Manager to own our private events business and oversee floor service. We're an established steakhouse entering an exciting new chapter: later this year we'll be renovating and rebranding into a more sophisticated, upscale steakhouse concept which will be the talk of the town in Stamford. This is a rare opportunity to step in now and grow with us as we elevate the experience. This is a hybrid role for someone equally comfortable closing an event with a corporate client and running a smooth, high-standard dinner service with the rest of the management team. As the face of our events program, you'll be a primary representative of the restaurant, so exceptional presentation, communication, and hospitality instincts are essential. What you'll do Events Serve as the face of our events program, building relationships with corporate clients and businesses near the restaurant, including in-person visits to prospective accounts
Manage all event inquiries and email correspondence from first contact through booking
Guide clients through menu selection from our event packages
Prepare detailed event order forms (BEOs) for the chef and service staff
Ensure every event check is rung in accurately and reconciled correctly Floor Oversee floor service when working the floor as a manager on duty
Maintain service standards, pacing, and guest experience throughout the night
Resolve guest issues with professionalism and discretion What we're looking for 2+ years in restaurant management, events, or fine-dining service (events experience strongly preferred but not crucial if strong personality)
Outstanding verbal and written communication
Refined, professional presentation and a warm, confident presence with guests
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail under pressure
Comfort with POS systems (Toast experience a plus) and standard event documentation
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation Competitive base, plus a bonus incentive structure tied to events and performance.
