Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient management of staff, and seamless service delivery. Your leadership will drive the restaurant's success by fostering a positive team environment, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and implementing innovative strategies to boost performance. Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality food presentation. Manage and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to uphold excellent customer service standards. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality control measures. Utilize POS systems such as TOAST for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management. Control inventory levels meticulously to minimize waste and optimize food costs while maintaining sufficient stock for daily operations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end. Supervise kitchen activities, including food production, catering services, banquets, and bar operations when applicable. Implement staffing schedules and shift management to meet customer demand efficiently. Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to ensure team competency and growth. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that aligns with health regulations and hospitality standards. Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities. Requirements Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants; fine dining or casual dining experience is highly desirable. Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development and team leadership. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management within the food industry. Experience driving and improving sales and profit margins Experience reading and analyzing Profit and Loss statements Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hospitality management background with experience in hotel or catering services is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team culture.
