In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a talented team of bartenders and staff. Your leadership will drive the creation of a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards for food and beverage quality, safety, and cleanliness. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the bar team, providing training, coaching, and development to foster a motivated and skilled staff. Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and inventory control to ensure efficiency and profitability. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and sanitation procedures to uphold the highest safety standards. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimize waste while maintaining a wide selection of beverages. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee outstanding service experiences. Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels during peak hours, and oversee kitchen management when necessary. Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, food safety management, culinary techniques, and hospitality best practices. Analyze profit and loss statements regularly to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings. Support team training & development initiatives to enhance skills in food production, catering services, banquets, and casual dining environments. Experience Proven management experience in a food service or hospitality setting with a focus on bar operations. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting. Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, conducting interviews, training staff, and managing restaurant or bar shifts effectively. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety management, and kitchen management. Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food industry standards. Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
