Job Location - Mt Pleasant, SC Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant General Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while leading a vibrant food service operation. This energetic leadership position offers the opportunity to oversee daily restaurant activities, manage staff, ensure food safety standards, and drive operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and high-quality service delivery. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain consistency and uphold food safety standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Train, develop, and mentor staff on food service techniques, customer service excellence, and safety protocols. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production, catering orders, banquet services, and bar operations. Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and training sessions to build a motivated and skilled team. Maintain compliance with health regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies across all areas of food service. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food production, labor, and supplies. Foster a welcoming hospitality environment that emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and guest satisfaction. Experience Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a focus on team management and supervision. Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory control. Demonstrated ability in staff training & development within the food industry or hospitality sector. Strong understanding of restaurant operations including shift management, budgeting, catering services, bar operations (including barista or coffee experience preferred), and customer service excellence. Supervising experience in a high-volume environment with a focus on quality control and operational efficiency. Knowledge of health regulations related to food handling and safety standards across diverse dining formats including fine dining or banquet settings. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
