Job Title:
Lead Coordinator - Shipping and Receiving Job Description This lead position involves the coordination of inbound deliveries and the organization of warehouse operations. The role requires working closely with upper management on matters related to labor force and product quality.SHIFT:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm, Responsibilities Coordinate inbound deliveries and organize the warehouse floor. Collaborate with upper management concerning labor force and product quality. Lead and manage a team in shipping and receiving operations. Perform data entry using basic ERP systems. Handle the physical labor associated with receiving and breaking down products. Essential Skills Proven experience as a lead in shipping and receiving. Strong computer skills with knowledge of basic ERP data entry. Ability to manage physical tasks involved in receiving and organizing products. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong management and organizational skills. Experience in delivery management and warehouse operations. Ability to delegate tasks effectively to team members. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm, with Fridays being the busiest day. Employees will typically have weekends off. Initially, there is minimal overtime, which may increase as the distribution center becomes busier. The role is in a cold storage environment with temperatures ranging from 33 to 55 degrees, requiring appropriate attire. The facility is a produce distribution warehouse that currently operates without shelving, with products stored on pallets. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $25.00/hr.
