Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Assistant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a background in kitchen management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, and financial performance.
- Ensuring the restaurant meets all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Ensuring the restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and meets safety standards.
- Hiring, training, and supervising all restaurant staff, including setting work schedules and performance evaluations.
- Oversee inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Developing and managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial performance to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production.
- Utilize POS system for order processing and sales tracking.
Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and service standards.
- Experience in kitchen management, including food safety protocols and quality control.
- Strong cash handling skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
- Ability to help build a positive team culture and motivate staff towards common goals.
- Proficient in inventory control methods to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Previous experience in hospitality is a plus.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $55,000.
