Job Description
The job of Cafeteria Manager was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities at the assigned location, with specific responsibilities for organizing food preparation activities; overseeing and assisting cafeteria workers with food preparation and serving; confirming quantities and quality of food items are available for use; providing written reports; preparing deposits; and complying with mandated health requirements. This job reports to the School Nutrition Program Director and the School Administrators. This is a full-time position working 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday. This is a school year (210-day) position with summer work opportunities available. Full-time benefits included. All efforts will be made to provide training at the employee's school of choice, BUT the applicant must be willing to work at any school if needed. Applicant must also be willing to work in all positions in the cafeteria to understand all areas of cafeteria operations.
