Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management Manage shift schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special events such as banquets or catering services Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous food handling and sanitation standards Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong hospitality team Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize profitability Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary standards, and menu execution Experience Proven assistant manager experience in a fast food or quick service restaurant environment with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Extensive knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within casual dining or fine dining settings Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within the food industry Experience managing hospitality teams in high-volume environments such as banquet halls or catering services is highly desirable Strong understanding of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork Basic math skills for order accuracy, financial reporting, and cost control Join us as an Assistant Manager where your enthusiasm for hospitality will drive operational excellence!
