Operating near the heavy Great Smoky Mountains tourism corridor, our store handles serious volume and fast-paced crowds. We are seeking a high-energy Assistant Restaurant Manager with strong floor presence to run shifts, mentor our crew, and drive top-tier operational execution. Position Summary Working directly alongside the General Manager, you will drive operational excellence across both front-of-house and kitchen operations. You will run shifts, step onto the line during peak rushes, coach staff, and ensure every guest gets fresh food with lightning-fast service. Core Responsibilities Shift Management & Operations Lead opening, mid, and closing shifts with a focus on speed of service, food quality, and accuracy. Work hands-on alongside line cooks and crew members during high-volume rush periods. Enforce strict health code compliance, food safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation guidelines. Team Coaching & Culture Onboard, train, and mentor team members to build a productive, high-performing workforce. Manage shift coverage, enforce break policies, and ensure seamless team communication. Cost Controls & Logistics Assist with weekly inventory audits, waste reduction tracking, and order receiving. Monitor shift-level labor productivity and help keep food and operational costs within target. Qualifications 5+ years of restaurant management/leadership experience (Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Shift Supervisor in Fast Casual or QSR). Strong floor leadership with a track record of coaching and retaining team members. Working knowledge of shift planning, inventory counts, food safety, and register reconciliation. Valid ServSafe Manager certification preferred (or required within 30 days of hire). Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and high-volume tourist/holiday seasons in Kodak, TN.
