The ideal candidate will be a creative leader with a proven track record of success. Food and Beverage Manager Duties Oversee the daily food and beverage operations. Ownership of all POS updates and modifications Work through details with Chefs on all catered meals; custom menu requests, seasonal offerings, table setup, buffet/plated meal presentation, dietary restrictions, sustainable kitchen initiatives, etc. Lead reviews with food & beverage team to confirm all timelines, special requests, allergy, and VIP notes between FOH and BOH kitchen staff align. Assist with building food & beverage content, reports, tracking and trends via Opera. Address any food and beverage guest complaints in a timely and professional manner. Continue to build and create catering solutions with Chefs to meet Lodge standards. Interview, hire, train, and evaluate food & beverage team members, ensuring consistent delivery of the brand experience. Create and implement SOP's, service standards, and safety procedures for the food & beverage program. Collaborate with the event coordination team as necessary for catering and events Food and Beverage Manager Requirements Ability to interpret financial data into an operational plan, manage budgets and achieve financial goals Understand the importance of being thorough, detail-oriented and committed to providing a world class customer service. Positive attitude. High sense of urgency. Self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects on different timelines. Ability to work with minimal direction. Excellent follow-through skills and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to consistently go above and beyond with outside-the-box thinking.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Years of Related Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in the Food & Beverage Industry as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience in a kitchen management or leadership role.
Licenses/Certifications:
Must be able to obtain your World Class Customer Service Certification as well as ServSafe certification within the first 90 days. Why Clayton?
