Overview This position for assistant manager is perfect for someone who is aspiring to move up into a GM role in the near future. It offers the opportunity to learn and grow in preparation for management opportunities that will come available internally. Also good for someone who is just breaking into management and is looking to join a company who is willing to train. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including training, coaching, and evaluating team performance to ensure top-tier service delivery Manage daily shift operations, including overseeing food preparation, cooking processes, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols Utilize POS for order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce Support management in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English with excellent communication skills for team leadership and customer interaction Demonstrated ability to manage staff training, supervision, and team development in a hospitality or restaurant setting Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, cash handling, and POS systems Experience with restaurant management including shift management, kitchen management, catering or banquet experience preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and staff scheduling Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster a positive work environment, and promote exceptional customer service standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in hospitality management while making a meaningful impact on guests' dining experiences.
