Our menu blends elevated breakfast classics, creative brunch dishes, specialty coffee drinks, and a lively bar program featuring mimosas, Bloody Marys, and brunch cocktails. Our restaurant operates primarily during morning and brunch hours , which means no late nights and a balanced work schedule. Position Overview The Assistant Manager at Toast To That! plays a critical leadership role and is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. This leader sets the tone for service, hospitality, and team culture while ensuring operational excellence across both the dining room and kitchen. This position supports both Front of House and Back of House operations while helping to lead service shifts, coach team members, and maintain operational standards. This role is ideal for someone who has exceptional experience in restaurants and is ready to step into a leadership position with growth potential . You will oversee daily operations, develop and lead the entire team, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional Toast To That! experience. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop restaurant staff
  • Help lead daily restaurant operations during service
  • Lead and support Front of House and Kitchen management teams
  • Ensure strong communication between FOH and BOH teams
  • Foster a positive and high-performance team culture
  • Assist in managing the pace and flow of brunch service
  • Provide coaching and leadership during service shifts
  • Help open and close the restaurant following established procedures Guest Experience
  • Ensure guests receive warm, attentive hospitality
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
  • Maintain high service standards and restaurant atmosphere
  • Support servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve the dining experience Operations Management
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations
  • Manage scheduling and labor planning
  • Ensure service flow remains efficient during busy brunch periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained Operational Support
  • Assist with scheduling and shift coverage when needed
  • Help manage POS operations, cash handling, and reporting
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed
  • Assist with inventory counts and ordering support when needed Restaurant Standards
  • Maintain quality standards for both food and service
  • Monitor ticket times and service efficiency
  • Ensure all staff follow restaurant policies and procedures
  • Help maintain equipment and facility standards Community & Brand Growth
  • Help build awareness for Toast To That! within the local community
  • Support marketing initiatives and events
  • Represent the restaurant in a professional and positive way Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who:
  • Has 3-5+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Thrives in a high-volume brunch or casual dining environment
  • Is passionate about hospitality and guest experience
  • Leads by example and works alongside their team
  • Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships with staff
  • Is organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Is interested in growing into a future general management role Schedule
