The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency. Oversee food production processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Implement and enforce food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen and service areas. Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting and financial management to achieve operational goals. Utilize Aloha POS systems for efficient order processing and reporting. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety standards, and inventory management. Proficiency in Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Excellent training development skills with a focus on staff growth and retention. Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality service standards. A passion for coffee and understanding of coffee production is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
