Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our Pizza Hut restaurant to new heights! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth through effective team management and operational excellence. Your leadership will inspire staff, uphold food safety standards, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced, quick service & fast food restaurant setting. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding food service and customer experiences. Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and front-of-house activities. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and company policies across all areas of food handling and preparation. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Conduct staff training sessions on food production, customer service, safety procedures, and operational protocols to foster continuous improvement. Handle shift management responsibilities including scheduling, supervising staff performance, and resolving customer concerns promptly. Implement budgeting strategies to meet financial goals while maintaining high-quality service standards. Supervise kitchen operations ensuring efficient food production and timely delivery of orders. Foster a positive team environment through effective interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of staff members. Requirements Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment with supervising responsibilities. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions and reporting. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management principles. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within the food industry. Demonstrated leadership abilities with staff training & development expertise. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently. Knowledge of kitchen management including food handling standards and culinary processes. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor is highly desirable.
