Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our bustling dining establishment with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and team success. Your leadership will drive the restaurant's growth, uphold food safety standards, and foster a vibrant, welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. Supervise and train staff across all departments, including front-of-house serving teams and kitchen personnel, emphasizing excellent customer service and food handling safety. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours and ensure consistent service quality. Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment. Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training & development initiatives to build a motivated and skilled team. Oversee cash handling procedures, daily financial reconciliation, and budget adherence to meet operational goals. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally. Coordinate with vendors for catering or special events such as banquets while managing kitchen operations for diverse food production needs. Experience Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with a strong background in restaurant management. Extensive culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills in hospitality or food service settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, food safety compliance, and kitchen management is highly desirable. Prior hospitality management experience in fine dining or hotel environments is a plus. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills; capable of training staff effectively and fostering a positive team culture. $57,676.98 - $69,460.45 per year
