House Manager (Housing-for-Services Position)
Location:
Houston, TX Overview Properties by TNH is looking for a dependable, organized, and self-motivated House Manager to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shared-living home for working professionals and students. This is a housing-for-services position. There is no hourly wage or salary. In exchange for completing the required House Manager responsibilities, you will receive a free bed in a shared bedroom, including utilities and Wi-Fi. Applicants must be available during the morning hours, as most responsibilities take place after guest checkouts. While the workload varies from day to day, morning availability is required. Responsibilities Prepare rooms for new guest check-ins by making beds and ensuring each room is guest-ready. Inspect all bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen, and common areas each morning. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain the cleanliness of the home. Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, coffee supplies, and other household essentials. Empty trash and replace liners as needed. Make sure guests are following house rules and report any issues to management. Report maintenance concerns immediately. Take photos after cleaning and room flips to confirm tasks have been completed. Respond professionally to basic guest questions when needed. Help create a clean, comfortable, hotel-like experience for every guest. Qualifications Reliable and dependable. Detail-oriented and takes pride in keeping a home clean and organized. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Honest, trustworthy, and respectful. Comfortable communicating by text and sending photos from a smartphone. Previous housekeeping, hotel, Airbnb, or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. What You'll Receive A free bed in a shared bedroom. Utilities included. Wi-Fi included.
