  • Taco Villa is seeking a dynamic and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant.
As the second in command, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and assembling an exceptional team dedicated to providing outstanding service to every customer who walks through our doors. Your role will be vital in ensuring that we uphold the high standards set by Taco Villa while also ensuring the financial health of our operation.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
Collaborate with the leadership team to recruit, train, and retain a high-performing staff focused on delivering top-tier customer service. Maintain financial accountability by monitoring food costs and labor goals, and demonstrating a strong understanding of P&L statements. Identify and address deviations or anomalies in financial performance compared to previous periods or forecasts. Foster positive relationships with vendors to ensure quality supply management and negotiate favorable terms. Handle customer and crew member concerns with empathy and professionalism, providing solutions to maintain satisfaction. Coach and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback to uphold Taco Villa's standards. Remain calm and composed during peak periods, inspiring confidence in both the team and customers. Multi-task effectively, managing various responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Proven leadership experience in the restaurant industry, with excellent communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to address concerns from both customers and crew members. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring a positive dining experience. Physically able to stand for 8-10 hours and to manage the demands of the restaurant environment. Willingness to work a 50-hour work week, with flexibility in scheduling.
