The Role We're looking for a driven, outgoing Catering & Events Manager to own and grow our catering and events business in McKinney. This isn't a desk job — you'll be out in the community building relationships with local businesses, medical offices, schools, and organizations, selling our catering subs and Hot Boxes to groups of all sizes, planning events that bring people through our doors, and making sure every order is executed flawlessly. What You'll Do Catering:
Sell and manage catering sub orders — individuals, Hot Boxes, and large group orders for offices, schools, medical facilities and events Actively prospect and outreach to corporate offices, medical facilities, schools and organizations in the McKinney/Collin County area Build and maintain relationships with catering accounts and convert one-time orders into recurring clients Manage EZCater, LunchDrop and direct catering orders from inquiry to delivery Coordinate with the kitchen team on order details, timing and logistics Track your pipeline and report weekly on new accounts and revenue
Events:
Plan and execute in-store events including themed nights, community partnerships, and promotional events Develop and manage apartment complex partnership programs — Free Nug Days, resident appreciation events, and outreach campaigns Coordinate with local businesses, organizations and influencers for cross-promotional events Represent Cheba Hut at community events, pop-ups, and local functions Build our presence in the McKinney community through consistent event programming
Outreach:
Drive to local businesses and offices to drop menus, introduce catering sub offerings and build brand awareness Develop relationships with office managers, HR departments, school administrators and event coordinators Follow up consistently on leads and convert them into long-term accounts
In-Store Training:
