ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager provides hands-on floor leadership and supports day-to-day food and beverage operations at Millie Leigh's. This position oversees service execution during assigned shifts, supports guest service, team development, and operational coordination, and works collaboratively with restaurant leadership to ensure consistent service excellence and guest satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in restaurant operations, food and beverage service, or hospitality. Some college in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience or leadership potential in an upscale restaurant environment. Strong communication, guest service, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Floor Operations & Service Leadership Oversee dining room, bar, and private dining operations during assigned shifts. Support service staff in executing proper service techniques and Millie Leigh's standards. Monitor service flow, seating, table management, and guest pacing to support a consistent dining experience. Provide visible floor leadership and respond to operational needs in real time. Support restaurant leadership and assume additional floor-management responsibilities as assigned. Guest Service & Relations Ensure positive guest experiences by remaining visible, available, and engaged during service. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to restaurant leadership as appropriate. Support special requests and guest preferences with attention, discretion, and care. Take ownership of service recovery and follow-through within assigned authority. Team Support & Training Assist in training service staff on menu items, wine pairings, service standards, and operational procedures. Provide timely coaching and feedback to team members during assigned shifts. Assist with staff scheduling and operational coordination as directed. Model professional behavior, accountability, and service excellence for the restaurant team. Operational Support Assist with inventory tracking and supply management. Support event coordination and special service preparations for private dining and special events. Monitor and communicate service issues, guest feedback, and operational needs to restaurant leadership. Participate in and oversee opening and closing procedures as assigned. Collaborate with the culinary team and La Estancia departments to support efficient service and special events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of a shift. Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with restaurant and service operations. Must be able to lift and carry supplies, service items, and equipment up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor dining and event environments and safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
