We serve a full-day menu spanning desserts, drinks, breakfast, and savory items — and we are open late. With two locations across the DFW area, we believe a great café experience is not just about good food and drinks — it is about genuine hospitality. We are hiring a Café Manager for our Murphy, TX location who leads from the front, sets the standard for how guests are welcomed, and helps us build something meaningful. What You Will Do Lead daily café operations and maintain workflow efficiency across the floor and kitchen Support, train, and motivate team members to deliver consistent quality and hospitality Manage staff schedules, shift coverage, and handle real-time operational decisions Track inventory levels, communicate ordering needs, and assist with placing supply orders Monitor waste, product usage, and cost efficiency to protect our margins Ensure drink quality, menu consistency, and hospitality-level experiences that go beyond transactional service — every guest should feel genuinely welcomed and cared for Own opening and closing procedures and ensure they are completed correctly every time Onboard and train new team members to uphold Dessert Avenue standards Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism — resolving issues in a way that turns moments of friction into lasting loyalty Oversee cash handling, register accuracy, and daily reporting Coordinate directly with ownership on operational needs and improvements Support social media shoots, events, pop-ups, and catering as needed Maintain a strong team culture and a positive, motivated work environment Who You Are A natural leader with clear, calm communication — you set the tone for the team Organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused under pressure Reliable and self-motivated — you do not wait to be asked Experienced in hospitality, café, or restaurant environments (preferred) Comfortable multitasking and managing a team during busy service Passionate about creating genuine hospitality experiences — you understand the difference between serving guests and truly hosting them Excited about growing with a brand that is still being built from the ground up Benefits Paid training Performance bonus — eligible upon consistently delivering role responsibilities at industry benchmark standards Consistent scheduling — in person at our Murphy, TX location Opportunity to grow with a fast-growing, community-first brand Be part of a purpose-driven team culture from day one This role is for someone who wants to grow with the brand and help build something meaningful from the ground up.
