Early mornings, daytime operations, weekends and holidays as required A growing restaurant ownership group is seeking experienced restaurant leaders for two distinct positions: General Manager in Training Assistant General Manager These are hands-on leadership roles supporting our Baytown and Pasadena operations. Final position and location will be determined by the candidate's experience, leadership ability and demonstrated operating results.
GENERAL MANAGER IN TRAINING
The General Manager in Training must already possess substantial restaurant-management experience and be capable of assuming full General Manager responsibility after successfully completing the evaluation and training period. This candidate will be evaluated on the ability to: Take ownership of sales, guest traffic, labor, food cost and profitability Lead both front-of-house and back-of-house operations Recruit, develop and hold managers and employees accountable Build weekly sales through excellent execution, catering, community involvement and local marketing Interpret financial and operational reports Develop and execute measurable performance-improvement plans Build a reliable management team capable of operating without constant owner involvement Maintain strong food-safety, cleanliness, hospitality and service standards
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
The Assistant General Manager will support daily restaurant operations and assume full operational control whenever the General Manager is unavailable. This is not a shift-leader position. The AGM must be capable of directing the entire restaurant, enforcing standards and holding employees accountable. The AGM will be responsible for: Leading opening, peak-volume and closing shifts Directing front-of-house and back-of-house employees Executing schedules and managing labor based on projected sales Supporting recruiting, onboarding, training and performance management Monitoring sales, guest count, PPA, labor, food cost, discounts and comps Resolving guest concerns professionally Completing accurate shift reports and management scorecards Maintaining food-safety, cleanliness, service and hospitality standards Supporting approved catering, community-outreach and sales-building initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least three years of restaurant-management experience Current or prior GM, AGM, Kitchen Manager or senior management experience Experience supervising managers and hourly employees Working knowledge of scheduling, labor, inventory and food-cost controls Experience leading both front-of-house and back-of-house operations Ability to understand restaurant financial and operational reports Strong judgment, communication, organization and follow-through Stable employment history and verifiable professional references Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and peak operating periods Ability to work in Baytown, Pasadena or both locations based on operational needs

ADVANCEMENT
The General Manager in Training position is intended to lead to a General Manager role after the candidate demonstrates readiness through measurable operating results. The Assistant General Manager may also be considered for future advancement based on performance, leadership development and organizational needs. No consideration for advancement to General Manager, multi-unit leadership or Director of Operations will occur while the candidate's assigned restaurant remains below established performance expectations.
COMPENSATION
Competitive salary based on experience, position and final placement. Performance-based bonus and advancement opportunities may be available.
